Meet The Chef

Michelin Group Star Winner Nick Vamvakaris was born in Athens in 1965. His parents were from Kythira, Crete, Asia Minor and Andros. His parent΄s advice life was not only to work in order to make ends meet but always to be creative through his work.

He remembers his father working in American club Kifisia as an electrician and there was his first “encounter” with a professional kitchen. He was so enchanted that then and there he decided to become a professional chef.

At the beginning of 1980s, music became his expression so he formed a rock band and together played live at the first Βurger Ηouses that opened in Greece. His musical career ended up when the band broke up. However, he discovered many common elements between music and cooking. Since he decided to become a chef and attended professional cooking courses at school of tourism and hospitality. His education taught him to express himself through cooking and always aiming for the best in what he does.

Name’s choice isn’t by chance. Your Chef Team adapts the menus according to the preferences of each client. (customize cooking)

We come in contact with your concierge examining closely the client’s preferences and end up with the final menu that covers all the counterbalancing habits.

Example.

In a 12-people group, 4 are vegan, 4 eat only fish and the rest eat only meat, so everybody will be satisfied with 12 separate set menus.

Your Chef Team pays much attention to the suppliers that come in collaboration with. They are mainly from Mykonos and Cyclades as well, by bio farms with fresh and seasonal products. Shopping is made for each group separately.
